Breaking News
Walla Walla Public Schools Foundation is facing some hard news. Due to drastic cuts in funding at the state level, some of our most successful programs — including Into the Blue, Lincoln’s Leadership Academy, and 5th grade Outdoor School — are in peril. Outdoor education funding, which had been a state-level priority in earlier years, is now virtually gone.
Over each of the last two years, we’ve received more than $100,000 in state funding for programs that served 1,550 students. In addition, last month, all district 5th graders went to overnight camp for the first time in 25 years — with funds that have now been eliminated. These programs have become annual bright spots in the yearly calendar, events that the students look forward to long in advance.
Can you help?
We’ve launched a campaign to raise $30,000 for these programs before the end of the school year. Gifts of any size help! Please consider making a donation today, or join us at our Funders Field Trip event on May 30 (details below.) Thank you!

Walla Walla Public Schools Foundation
Because learning doesn't end at the classroom door...
Our mission is to enrich and enhance the educational experiences of students in the Walla Walla Public Schools. We fund at least one field trip for every K-8 student as well as outdoor, overnight experiences for students at both high schools.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE FIELD TRIP?
With your support, Walla Walla Public Schools students can explore the great outdoors, spend a day on the farm, visit the theater, and build memories that last a lifetime.

Many thanks to the grantors who support these field trip programs!
